Childcare

Overview

Full development and servicing of the TropiQ precinct will require relocated and expanded childcare facilities. Opportunities for further integrations with JCU for early childhood teaching placements, as well as the exploration of inter-generational care models with a co-located aged care facility is highly desirable.

Location and scale

Master planning indicates that at least two main childcare centres, proximate to the eastern and western entrances, with approximately 200 places each will be required.

Expression of interest process to begin in the near term, developers and operators are encouraged to register their interest.
